The Life of Kate Hanks

I took this photograph in the kitchen the other day. Having recently moved in with my boyfriend and his 8 year old daughter - I've been making some changes around the house and we've all been adjusting! What I noticed while walking through the kitchen is that there is "girly girl" stuff all over the house lately. Selene, the 8 year old, has recently been into playing with make up and running a "spa" club. I feel like I'm reliving my childhood through her.

But back to the photo - I thought this captured the new feel of the house quite nicely!
